Lead Machine Learning Engineer

As a Lead Machine Learning Engineer at DataShapes AI, you’ll play a crucial role in developing our models and maintaining our model validation, testing, and deployment process.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other engineers, to create cutting-edge products.

• Lead the development and management of DataShapes’ ML and AI model pipeline

• Integrate data science best practices with the software development lifecycle to produce robust, repeatable model pipelines.

• Participate in code reviews, performance evaluations, and architecture design.

• Assume leadership on new projects, from conceptualization to deployment.

• Contribute to architectural decisions and tech stack selection.

• Mentor and learn from other engineers, sharing knowledge and best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree  in Computer Science, Data Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

• Demonstrated experience with building and maintaining a production data-science model pipelines for high performance, enterprise-grade machine learning and AI models.

• Experience with data science management toolkits including DVC, AWS tools, etc.

• Proficiency with one or more relevant programming languages (Python, Rust preferred)

• Fluent with traditional software development tools and workflows (Git, Docker, etc.)

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Passion for staying up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies.
