File uploads and attachments
Respect file size and type limits, avoid unusual encryptions, and use supported formats for resumes, images, and support ticket files.
File uploads in Zera, including for resumes and some support attachments, must stay within the size and type limits the product and storage layer enforce. You will see current limits in the uploader; exceeding them will fail the upload before data is stored.
Use common formats: PDFs for most documents, and standard image types where images are allowed. If the product rejects a file, export again from the source as PDF rather than a proprietary editor format.
Name files in ASCII when possible, especially on older operating systems, to avoid rare path issues. If an upload is slow, it may be a network issue; retry on a stable connection before assuming the site is down.
For support ticket attachments, only include the minimum data needed to resolve the case. Do not add exports that contain other people's personal data without a work reason, and follow your organization's policies for data handling.
